How to reach the people who maintain the catalogue, and what to send them.
Last updated
One address reaches everyone who works on Restrike: hello@restrike.co.
There is no phone line and no support ticket system. Mail is read by a person, usually within a couple of working days.
What to send
A catalogue correction. The most valuable thing we receive. A specification here can be wrong in the ordinary ways: a diameter off by a tenth of a millimetre, a mintage attributed to the wrong year, a mint letter missing from an issue. Tell us which type (a link to its page is ideal), which field, what it currently says and what it should say. A source helps and is not required; we would rather hear about an error we then have to verify than not hear about it.
A missing type, series or issuer. The catalogue is authored by hand and grows series by series. If something you expect to find is absent, say so, and say which reference you would check it against.
A photograph problem. Wrong coin on a type page, a crop that has eaten the rim, an image that should not be there. Include the type page's URL.
An API question. Read restrike.co/developers first; it covers authentication (there is none for the public endpoints), the shape of every response, rate limits and versioning. If the answer is not there, write and we will fix the documentation as well as answer you.
A takedown or rights question. If you hold rights to an image or a body of reference data that appears here and want it removed, write with enough detail to identify what you mean and it will be taken down while we look into it, not after.
Press and partnerships. Same address. Say what you are working on.
What not to send
We cannot value your coin, cannot tell you whether a specific coin is authentic, and cannot broker a sale. Nothing on this site sells a coin; the melt value a page prints is fine gold at spot and nothing more.
Response times
Corrections are usually applied within a week of being verified; complicated ones (a whole series that needs restructuring) take longer and we will say so. Anything about rights or removals is treated as urgent.
